Well … Once upon a time…
In ancient Ethiopia, a staid and responsible goatherd named Kaldi ventured out to gather his goats who were normally of a sober and dignified disposition. But on this particular morning Kaldi found his herd dancing with gleeful abandon. Kaldi soon determined that the goats had been nibbling the red berries of a nearby shiny, dark-leafed shrub. Kaldi decided to try the "cherries" himself, and it wasn’t long before he joined his happier herd in their frolic. This was, of course, the first caffeine buzz and the discovery of coffee. Thanks to the experiments and adventures of coffee lovers before us, coffee in its many forms is a delicious accompaniment to our daily lives.
